Purpose of the Role
RiverBank is seeking experienced and strategic SME Relationship Managers to join a high-performing Sales team pivotal to RiverBank's growth ambitions in the Dutch and French markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for originating deposits from SME customers, managing key client relationships, and supporting the team to deliver superior customer outcomes. You will also act as the Key Account Executive for our key clients and play a central role in shaping the bank's origination and cross-selling capability.
Primary Responsibilities
· Join a team of liability-focused Relationship Managers and support staff to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and business performance.
· Design, refine, and execute a comprehensive funding strategy in coordination with Geographic Sales Directors and Product Managers.
· Establish and manage a personal portfolio of key commercial banking clients, targeting high-value deposit relationships.
· Define and implement clear financial and volumetric objectives for each team member in line with the business strategy.
· Collaborate with other departments to implement organizational changes that support deposit growth while maintaining risk appetite and compliance standards.
· Drive performance through a structured sales management process, including regular monitoring and evaluation of team objectives.
· Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance sector expertise, relationship-building capabilities, and regulatory knowledge across the team.
· Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external banking regulations.
· Build and nurture strategic relationships with key sector stakeholders, intermediaries, and industry influencers to support RiverBank's market presence and growth goals.
Qualifications and Experience
· Proven track record in sales management and relationship management
· Self-starter
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent planning and organizing skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
· Show initiative, high energy and a desire to succeed, while demonstrating enthusiasm and passion to inspire employees throughout the organization

Your Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as the principal point of contact for a key corporate client, ensuring seamless

Your skills and attitude:
- Excellent spoken/written English.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in fund industry, with an operational background preferred in some combination of accounting, financial reporting, compliance or corporate governance.
- Demonstrated success managing high-value corporate relationships.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data tracking, KPI/KRI reporting, and multi-departmental coordination.

Description de la fonction
- Vous êtes responsable de la gestion et de l'organisation d'une équipe de 10 technico-commerciaux et 2 supports administratifs en charge de l'élaboration des devis jusqu'aux commandes.
- Vous motivez et encouragez le développement professionnel de votre équipe, en maintenant un sens éveillé aux nouveaux outils, méthodes et techniques. Vous prônez autant que faire se peut la polyvalence entre les personnes.
- Vous avez une vision claire et proactive des dossiers à traiter. Vous répartissez ceux-ci à votre équipe selon charge et compétences individuelles afin qu'ils soient réalisés conformément aux cahiers des charges du client, tout en s'assurant de respecter les délais demandés.
- Vous entretenez avec le manager commercial externe une communication étroite afin d'optimiser au maximum les dossiers et d'augmenter le taux de conversion des devis traités. Vous assurez conjointement le suivi de la marge prospective et de la marge de négociation. Vous proposez des solutions alternatives pour optimiser le coût du projet.
- Vous organisez une communication régulière concernant toute amélioration potentielle ou tout incident susceptible d'entraîner des modifications d'exécution et des coûts supplémentaires.
- Vous participez au suivi du développement des nouveaux produits en coopération avec les achats, la production, la qualité et la R&D.
- Vous construisez une approche structurée et concrète afin de comprendre et d'améliorer le parcours et l'expérience-client, pour impacter positivement la satisfaction et la loyauté du client.
- Vous développez un plan d'amélioration continue avec alternatives innovantes en vue d'absorber les pics de travail lié à la saisonnalité du secteur, d'améliorer les outils-métier à disposition, de réduire le taux d'erreur, d'optimaliser les processus en place, etc.
Vous réalisez le reporting périodique de l'activité du bureau commercial interne en instaurant des indicateurs de suivi clairs et adaptés.
Éducation
Master en Ingénierie, en Sciences ou en Commerce ou équivalent en expérience professionnelle
Expérience
Un minimum de 5 à 7 ans d'expérience avec un passage dans une fonction similaire ou aux processus similaires. Vous avez déjà géré une équipe.

Your next challenge:
- Manage and retain existing relationships with clients, and increase ROA
- Detect client needs and preferences and offer appropriate products and services (financial, legal and tax products)
- Ensure that client instructions are well executed to guarantee a high level of service
- Coordinate client events (conferences and sponsored activities) and organize key actions to acquire new clients
- Keep abreast of developments in financial markets and make sure the bank's investment strategy is properly implemented
Your skills:
- 3+ years of experience in both Corporate and Private client relationships
- Business development and relationship management experience and expertise
- Strong knowledge of the products and services in Private Banking/Wealth Management
- Relevant University Degree education
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build sustainable relationships
- A high level of integrity and ethics
- Proven negotiation skills
- Fluent in French and English, German and Mandarin would be considered as an advantage
- Strongly client and results focus orientation
- Motivated to be part of a team - working well with internal stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to travel
